I know nothing about this hutch/secretary. It has 15 drawers and has a desk extension in front that has hinges that retract and fold. The extension is supported by slide-out leaf brackets on each side. It stands about 5 1/2 feet tall. It has brass hardware.
Can anyone tell me about this? Thanks so much.

This looks like a Chippendale piece. Most likely made in England.

don't mean to be rude -- but izz just callz em like izz sees em -- no way is this a chippendale -- the feet are what is known as an ogee bracket foot and this is a good clue -- foot was and is used quite a bit by the ethan allen furniture company -- still in existence today in many malls and strip malls -- guessing it is fairly new -- perhaps the 1960s to 90s -- representative of early american style made of maple -- writing board appears to have the hard epoxy coating for hardness -- the hardware is also fairly new and this style was again used by the ethan allen furniture company -- would guess somewhere there maybe be either an ink stamp or paper stamp with ethan allen on it -- that's my story and i'm stickin to it -- have a great weekend -- hope this helps and again the comment is not meant to be rude -- either way it is a very nice piece of furniture
