I bought this beautiful vase because I really like it, but can not read the mark on the bottom. I was wondering if anyone knows what it says. It is very worn, but looks like Germany. It is about 6 inches tall. Very dark green grey, with an irridescence to it. It is very well done.

Looks to me like the signature reads "Helen Borman." (or maybe "Berman.")

Thanks. You may be on to something. I had the midset of a country name, and didn't consider it could be an artists name. The picture actually gives a better view than in person, flash and angle and all that. it is really hard to see. I think the only way to know for sure is if someone has a very similar vase that can be read. Thanks for the loves everyone.
