    Antiquemys…
    (17 items)

I posted several pictures of dolls found in my Aunt's home after she passed away. I have no information about any of the dolls I am posting but, have been asked to provide a close up picture of their face along with a picture of the back of their neck. I would be grateful for any information involving their origin and value. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Any doll with "Made in Germany" will date to after 1921. Is it an Armand Marseille? The doll experts will know for sure.
Can you note what the marks are for them?
      The number will be important.

What is the number mold number 174 that is not a Armand Marseille mold ? I can't make it out . Kestner and Simon Halbig used it that number . Please clear the number for me ok :-)
Actually many Bisque dolls are marked Germany prior to 1921 . Often marked with Dep or Germany .
. There are records of early China dolls and German dolls marked made in Germany .Also French dolls

Thanks Mani for the clarification. That statement comes from the ebay "rough" guide.

Hiya vet ! yes they keep it pretty basic on those forums . There were so many doll makers that it would be hard to discuss everyone . Armand of coarse is one we find the most often :-) many times the bodies are marked Germany ect also .

The eyebrows look uneven ? are they fur ? if not I will say a true German Bisque would have perfect painting of them .
