Beautiful collection. Americans get so wound up in their own bottles that they ignore the rest of the world. Love the torpedo. You live in Chile?

Blunderbuss2 :Yes, I live in the city of Los Andes, Chile. I'm a collector of antique bottles and labels that are older than 1930 of juices, mineral water, beer.
Also I have a good collection of old cigarette packets, around 500.

You are an interesting person. Glad to know there is a world outside of the States & the "dread California". I don't live in McDonald's Land either. Your English is excellent also. Is there a reason for that? I ain't got no ac-sent neither. You obviously have good digs there.

Blunderbuss2 :When a person is fond of collecting, I think it's for life. When children collect stamps when young airline Chile saltpeter adult chips and now I have several collections: old packs (no cigarettes, just the packaging), bottles, drinks and beer labels. My collections revolve around the historical period of exploitation of nitrate between 1830 and 1930. All you collect has been found in more than 250 villages salitreros period.
In a few days I will fulfill 67 years and devote part of my time in making known the objects I have in my collection. I check their collections from time to time, you have very beautiful things. I do not speak any English, to make known my stuff in Weekly, use Google Translate. It's very friendly.
Thank you for your interest in the things of this part of America.
      Greetings.
