This is a solid wood menu board with the one small strip of the letter holding broken. Everything else is perfect! The trademark seal is in the tail of the "C" on the "Coca" part.
Im curious, as to a value, as I cannot seem to locate any photos of others, and also, should I fix the broken piece?? Should I use it in a restaurant I am trying to purchase??
Picked it at a Yard Sale years ago.
Beautiful piece. Would love to have one. I would use it for my own personal use. What is it worth? Hundreds!
I dont know, I do know the trademark, is from the 1930-1941 period. I am trying to research it, but can't find another like it. I saw some 1950s menu boards in the $5-600 range, so I'm guessing in the $1000s, depending on how rare it is. I can't seem to find another photo on one.
Looked up your sign out of curiosity. Made in late 30's, and should measure 20". x 39". Is that correct? Value? Up to $1000.00.
Made by Kay Sign Company, Early 40s. Not bad condition.
It was made by Kay Displays New York
That is a nice item. I would love too find one.
In the Petretti's 10th edition Coca-Cola book your sign is from the late 1930's and is was valued at $850.00. 20" x 39" wood menu board.
