I found the old sign sticking out of the ground in my backyard.
I dug it up and washed away most of the dirt but its still a bit rusty, it's been bugging me for a while now and I can't find a picture of it on the Internet.
It's kind of hard to read what it says on the top but I think it says something like pendeuick and then it has "machinery tops the west" under that.
I would really appreciate if someone could identify what kind of sign it is and maybe tell me what it is worth if anything, thanks.
Looks like Pedarick to me, but haven't found anything online for that name in Australia.
Try posting it on an antique farm equipment forum.
1950's era?
Ok, thanks for the help identifying the name.
By the way I live in Australia.
Hahaha well yeah kind of sticking out of the ground it was on a hill near my backyard.
They could have been based in Wagin.
Nice find by the way!
Thanks
Is wagin the name of the company that makes the machinery
No, I would think that's where they were manufactured.
Oh ok, thank for the help.
You're most welcome, keep us posted if you find anything.
Hey guys just letting you know that I contacted wagin by email asking them if they wanted the signs and they happened to have a historical village there and they happily bought them of me so thanks for all your help.
Hello from George Grant.
I did a simple Googler search for Pederick Machinery and up comes Pederick Engineering at Wagin n WA. There is a spot on the sign that indicates Wagin so I reckon your sign is of the Pederick Engineering Company that was established in Wagin
