i pick this clock up from a friend.. i would like to get it to work, but no idea of who makes it where to get new mechnism. the second pic has a j at the top of this item. there are no other numbers or marking at all on the clock..
This is a Junghans clock. It was made in Germany and England. The Junghans company started producing clock in 1861 in Schramberg Germany. Take it to a clock repairperson, the cost of fixing it will be well worth it. My sister inherited a Junghans from my grandfather and it is worth about $900, but it is a wall clock.
I'm sorry.... I made a typo. My last statement should read "It was made in Germany and NOT England"
thanks tikiray that helps a lot...
