Since bellin showed his duck thought I would show mine. My husband brought this home a few months ago from you guessed it an auction. He liked it and no one else was bidding so he got it for 5 bucks. I was really surprised when I turned it over to look at the bottom. I had never heard of Paul Hoff but now will be checking every ceramic duck I see. Another accidental find.

Thanks bellin. He brought home what he thought was a plant stand and it turned out to be spiral library steps from Italy. I'm still trying to find out about them. Maybe I'll post to see if any furniture people can enlighten me. As always I appreciate your comments. Have a great day.

He/she is napping and yes I will be up at least every hour. It's worth it though. I couldn't stand by and not do something.

hi nldionne -- what suckers we are with animals -- i am the same -- have rescued many in my life time from owls to snakes to elk, deer, cows etc -- also have gotten myself in some awkward situations doing this -- but the spirits take care of fools and children -- as my grandmother use to say

have you come up with a name for the little one

have a great weekend -- weather here in vancouver wa is overcast -- i so love all the seasonal changes

Not sure if boy or girl so trying to think of something that will fit both. Had a kitten named junior that ended up to be sissy. May call him gumption. It sure is a little fighter. Was convulsing first day I found it so didn't think I would be able to save it. Now four days later cant keep up;)
Supposed to be about 40 here today. Have a great day Epson

gumptions good -- i like that one -- certainly more so than "junior" where was your head on that one girlfriend -- perhaps it because we had a classmate and his name was junior johnson -- bit of a sissy he was also -- have a great week nldionne

Hi Epson. She looked just like her daddy so hubby started calling her Junior.
