Is this a Morse code unit from ww1 ??
I found this at the dump and looks like a morse code unit. It would be pretty cool if it was :)

This certainly seems to be a signal key to me and from the little research I did it looks to be British, but the military units, being what they are, usually put some identifying marks on them.
