    I had somene offer me $200 for this several years back. Should I have taken it? Doesn't look like a typical fake. Actually looks real. No hole makes me thing is a fake since there are no many. Let me know what you think.

      You may want to google Northwest Company and read the article on wikipedia. They issued coins in 1820 and each coin was the value of a beaver pelt. Very interesting article.

      Pitting in the fields of the coin is usually the sign of a fake... but it is extremely difficult to tell from photographs. Neat anyways!
