I bought this a few years ago in Crestview, Florida. I was told it was from an estate sale. They store had four to begin with, one scene for each season, but this was the only one left. The back has an old piece of cardboard with two cancelled stamps. I would like to know more about it (if possible) and how much it might be worth. I think it is beautiful, but nobody else seems to appreciate it.

This is a tourist piece done in silk Embroidery. Around mid 20th century. Stamps may have cancelation date? Around 25.00 = 35.00 You can Google "Japanese Silk Embroidery" and look at shopping section to see a few. Dave

I Googled "Japanese Silk Embroidery" as you suggested, but I couldn't find anything comparable. This thread is thicker and rough, like a yarn. Here is some more info. The backing is a cutout from a box imprinted with Dermer, LTD, 631 West 50th Street, New York 19, NY. The two stamps have no cancellation date, but are both stamped with Atlanta, GA (horizontally). One stamp has an extra vertical cancellation mark that looks like it might say, "SR, AP, 50." It would be much easier if I could add more pictures to this page!
