I have had this vase for some time now but hesitated to post it because I had not seen anything like it with the plain stem and base and presumed that it was probably new/Chinese or similar! But I now have seen something similar and am wondering if it is Bohemian? Should it have a metal frog or a matching top? I don't mind it being new as I quite like it, but it would be nice to know one way or the other! Many thanks again CW crew if you can help me out AGAIN!!! Sorry!

Thanks to czechman this piece looks to be Kralik - deco era - not Chinese! whoopeeeeee!!!

Thanks for the Love Bellin, you fit man you off to the gym! I am just doing a bit of e-bay too, have to off load some of the stuff I can't help buying! Also I am snowed in here, I live in the countryside and our side roads are impassable - cant get up the drive anyway!! Have a good workout!:)

Hi inky! Wondering where you were! Yes we are all tucked up with the wood burners glowing nicely! I do like it when the snow is deep and everything is quiet and its warm and cosy. Would be nice to get a seat besides the one at the computer, all taken by cats! I have a lovely little foster cat of 8 months, had to bring her in from the outside kennel as it is really dipping down low here. Thanks for the love inky!

Thank you czechman, can always rely on you with the Bohemian glass. I have never seen the line type of decor before so was feeling a little confused about its origin and age.

p.s. good observation on the Chinese look to them, they were probably inspired by chinese lanterns

Hello ruckleglass, you did indeed purchase this piece, I am slowly parting with a lot of my glass pieces and refining down to a few select pieces as I had become overwhelmed in numbers!!!! Can so easily happen!! I am pleased that it has found an avid glass collector's home and is of use to your research. I believe Peggy purchased the other one you were also interested in. Kind regards! Lesley
