Early LP recordings were monaural, but stereo LP records became commercially available in 1958, and in 1958, RCA introduces its first stereo LPs.

As a rule recordings are not that valuable. It depends on the artist (popularity and significance), what's been recorded, the age, the studio, the condition of the recording and the album cover, etc. Even the old wax cylinders are almost a dime a dozen. As always do your research.
