I figure this was used by a rail road engineer because the numbers are turned so once worn, he could keep his hands on the controls keeping his attention at the time. I don't know too much more about it. It belonged to an ancestor of mine. Not sure what to do with it now.
Did you ever find out about this wristwatch? I inherited a Hamilton watch that is oriented in the same direction as yours, however it's shaped differently. Mine was worn by my grandfather in the 1930's. Yours is the only other watch I've been able to find online with the band at 9:00 and 3:00. Hoping you have information about yours.
