1926 23 jewels adjusted 6 positions. Works and was givin to me so I think I got a pretty amazing present from a pretty amazing friend. I don't see a K sign for the gold on the casing. It's a Banner case and says it's gold filled it also has a serial number on it and other numbers and letters etched in that are very hard to read! Sorry for the poor quality pictures, they were taken with my phone. Anyone know what it's worth? I'm not looking for an appraisal by any means. I've seen them varey quite a bit, $3-5000 on an antiques road show and then usually about $1600 on othersites.
Hi,
It looks like a size 16s. Waltham Vanguard model 1908 with a wind indicator (up/down). If I had the serial number I could tell you the exact year. You are right on the money with your estimate.
I thinks it's 1926, but everywhere I look I can not find the same numerals?! It's driving me batty! The serial number is 25678056. I love this watch! So pretty. From what I've researched the wind up down is kind of rare and makes the watch that much better!
