Another one of our put-aways was this large Cased Glass Pitcher with reeded handle and inner layer of Spatter Glass. The inside layer is white glass and the outside is clear. It is four sided with a prominent spout and a polished pontil and measures 8" tall by 7" in diameter. Would I be correct in labeling it as a Franz Welz/ Bohemian Glass item? I have not seen too many of these and none that were labeled. There are no markings on this pitcher. Thanks for any input, RER (LOUMANAL)
I think it's more likely to be Ruckl... LeahGoodwin made a nice post a while back http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/76380-the-four-seasons-of-ruckl , see third vase.

Thanks Obscurities! I hadn't heard of Ruckl until I found this CW site. Like most people, Bohemian/Czech glass was what I called most of this type of Art Glass. I knew about Loetz and Kralik because I had handled and sold some items before. My glass forte as a collector was/is American and Canadian pressed glass, Oil lamps, Depression and Elegant Glass but in Art Glass, I am a still a novice. I probably sold some real Art Glass treasures through eBay in the past 15 years but I should have done my homework before. I truly appreciate your input and I maintain an open mind to all the comments from CW members. I am one of those who hope you stay active and prominent with this nascent website. RER (BOB) LOUMANAL
I actually looked-up Ruckl after you posted your comment. I had seen the name but I hadn't looked it up on the web or on this site. I very often will LOVE an item on CW based on the visual effect. If you look at my listings, I had one vase uploaded that I was able to identify as Welz because I saw a similar listing on eBay. You honor me greatly by suggesting that I know more than I am claiming I do, but like all mortals, I have a LOT to learn. I do have an open mind to all your comments and I promise to research and study harder. RER "LOUMANAL"

Ah Ha! The plot thickens....I see that differing opinions do not always "win the day here"! As I have stated, I am very open minded and appreciate all the help you have offered. I will follow up on the British attribution and on the Bohemian possibility too. End of the day items are not that uncommon here in Canada so the British suggestion (we were a colony of Britain until 1967) is a strong possibility.
I have found that the Art Glass section of CW is the most active, especially in the requests for help in the attribution of our items and collections, so it is obvious that there are NO experts in all fields of Art Glass but by working together and by being open-minded that we can be very useful in researching/developing/cataloging materials for future collectors. Like I said, I "LOVE" items by many personal factors-choices and I respect other people's tastes. I am also not easily offended nor am I a quitter ! I am not deleting any messages here because that would be like choosing sides....I thank all the commentators and those who Love the items that I love too. RER (BOB) LOUMANAL
Thank you for your comment Bob!! I don't think we want any more 'very heated discussions' that is why I have just called them Bohemian! I just want folk to enjoy them for what they are and the expertise gone into making them!! : )
Beautiful pitcher BOB & bravo, very well said in comment #9! Couldn't agree more with you. I've found its all a bit of a minefield trying to find out if something's English or Bohemian, let alone a maker!

Thanks to all for your kind informative comments and research. I think then that Weltz has it. There is a strong pinky peach glow under uv. Yabbadabbadoo….think it’s solved. Love this Collectors Weekly…I have some more…..shall add soon!!
