This is a set of handled relish dishes from the Haviland and Co Limoge out of France. I received these from my mother who used to clean the house of a wealthy older woman who loved antiques. I did some research and found out that this hallmark for the Haviland and Company was one of the older ones, dating around the 1880's. However, the rare violet pattern displayed on my pieces has been hard to match with anything I have found thus far. I just love how intricate and detailed the hand painted violets are and the gold trimmed handles!

We have a ton of this saved from women in my wife's family from 1850s-1950s

      Filmnet,
I was so excited to see that your family owns this type of limoges. Is it the exact same pattern of violets? Wow, what a coincidence!
