Hi, I found this powder pink scent / perfume bottle at GW and I couldn't figure out for the longest time what it said on the bottom. I knew it said Hand Paints' but the word above had me baffled. I finally figured out it said Limoges. Now I want to know how old it is. It amazes me when I can't find anything on the internet. You would think there would be at least one out there somewhere. It has gold painted flowers on every side. If anyone knows anything please let me know.
Thanks,
Michelle
Lovely perfume bottle... I don't know if you came across this site while you were researching but it may help a little, and you might be able to contact them for information on yours..good luck!...:-)

Thanks Inky I am on my way there now. Thanks for the love all.
Thanks Bellin68, I looked for your M.E.I. mark but couldn't find anything. It kind of looks like Pennsylvania Tanware but the inside would be Albany Slip which is dark brown the color of the decoration on your pitcher. It might be something to look into. Anyway, I am still looking for an age on this thing. Most of the limoges have metal closures and mine has a ceramic stopper plus it is larger than the little limoges boxes. I will keep looking.
be careful shell -- there are a lot of fakes on the limoges -- takes many hours of research on these -- good luck -- sure hope you get lucky on this
Thanks, it is worn on the bottom corners and where the pink came off it is white and a little bit of the gold is worn off. It is just not a typical limoges most all of them I find are boxes with hinges not bigger scent / perfume bottles. I will be very careful though and hopefully I can find something to compare it with.
It is very BEAUTIFUL...
Thanks Jakeeblue, I think it is very pretty also.
