Does anyone know anything about this Artist? I have tried searching on the internet, not much luck..curious what its worth. It is in a old custom made frame..wondering if its Antique?
I found this painting at the Goodwill, its beautiful, so real looking, you feel like you can just touch the tree's and mountains..the Artist's name is signed, Baheiz..
I see it's been 8 months since you've posted your mystery. Have you received any new news on the artist 'Baheiz'? I to have an original oil painting by this artist 24"x30" also framed in a similar fashion, my frame says made in mexico. My canvas is stretched over newer looking pine slats which are stapled together with what appears a modern squeeze stapler. The subject matter of my Baheiz is also of a mountain, pine trees in the foothills, and larger trees at left (in autumn) but it is composed slightly differently. I tried to post the picture but failed. I'm also curious as to it's value, I found mine near a dumpster at one of my job sites. Apparently someone's had to part with it but couldn't bear to toss it in the dump. My wife says I should toss this but I think I'll hang it up in my office for awhile.
