Found this at my grandfathers place, he wants to sell it but says its something of value, just wondering if anyone can give me any information about it, I wasn't able to find anything on the internet. Thank you much appreciated.

My mother has a lamp with similar style. She bought it in the late 1960's as part of her bedroom set with my father. Hers is more black in color though, very elaborate in design like yours is, and also has those arms that reach out. Hers has round globes on each one and they have a cracked look all over them. I also am trying to find out some info on it as well.
