Hi, does anyone know anything about Chintz. This is such a pretty bowl but it has no mark on the bottom. It looks like transferware because there is a line where the patten comes together on the lid. Once again any help would be appreciated. If this pattern might have a name or what not.

    Thanks
    Michelle

chintz is a style -- many porcelain makers used it -- just google chintz -- you will get a wealth of information

Thanks epson, I have been reading up on chintz but as always I can't find one like mine. I want to know how old it is and if there is manufacture who made that pattern. I guess my noseyness sure can be a curse.
