The Hereford is a breed of beef cattle, widely used both in intemperate areas and temperate areas, mainly for meat production. This is a magazine dedicated to buying, caring for, breeding, and raising Herefords. The magazine’s roots date back to 1910, when Hayes Walker Sr. founded The American Hereford Journal. Upon its purchase by the American Hereford Association (AHA) in 1961, The Journal became the official Hereford breed publication. Following World War II, Frank Farley, former employee of The Journal, started another breed publication, Polled Hereford World, which was bought by the American Polled Hereford Association (APHA) in 1965. The 1995 merger of Polled Hereford World and American Hereford Journal resulted in the current name: Hereford World. This issue is from 1928. Is this collectible or valuable?
