This watch was in my Great Aunt's belongings when she passed away in 1998. I remember playing with it as a child in the 70's and my father played with it in the 50's as well.
It is in great shape (not an expert), still runs, and I have never seen another one like it.
I would like to know from what era the watch is and if I should have a jeweler service the watch and gain the serial number from the inside.
Thanks!
AR8Jason is right.... You need to get the back open. The serial number on the movement will tell the story. Post pictures once you do get it open. We'd love to see it!!
AR8Jason,
The family has a very significant presence in GA, yes. Ring comments were most helpful.
You watch is similar to mine, but like the ring, have never seen a duplicate of the face design. I did find a relative why was a train conductor and a picture of him (may or may not have the watch and be the original owner).
