I have a pair of these spectacular Hawaiian lamps that caught our eye the minute my partner Mike and I saw them at one of our local resell it shops.
We have been enjoying them for many years now.
These are not small lamps and stand about 26 inches tall, shades 14 wide
These seem to be late 1950' 60's, although just a guess
The wood is Koa, a rare tropical wood and difficult to carve.
The crafted butterfly shade is made of delicate seashells held together with thin soft brass wire. really pretty too!
I would love to know more about them or find the maker, so if anyone may have any info, please share!
