18th Century Lowestoft commissioned by an early family member.

I have one small sample of some Canton based Lowestoft dating from around the time of the American War of Independence. My pieces are from a set claimed to have been originally commissioned by a family member, one Captain Peter Jenison of Salem, MA and said to be from a design made by the Captain. I would love to get more information if there were any. His grandson, one Horatio H Larned of Lansing, MI was for a time an importer and purveyor of fine China into the early 1930?s.
