This is a heavy ring, brass I would say, with an interesting inlay of what appears to be enameling? and what looks to me like a piece of quartz or what is that? It is pretty cool looking.

I can't see the stone at this angle but could it be a boulder opal or there is another name I can't remember now, comes from Central or South America and they keep the surrounding matrix and mount it that way, an interesting raw look.
