Here is a clay figure 10" long. I think it is from Egypt and was picked up at least 50 years ago.
It is an ushabti ,
A small figure buried to be called upon in the afterlife to assist the dead.
These were buried in the deceased tomb and there were usually many in each tomb.
Ancient Egyptian artifacts are common .
