Am really excited about this find. Found this pitcher on Trilogy Antiques but theirs has a pewter lid. Mine does not have the hole drilled for the lid.
I read on a web page that 19th century people loved Majolica but 20th century found it "vulger" and banished it from their homes. It has a chip on the handle but for 130 years old I think she is in pretty good shape. George Morleys was in business from 1884 thru 1891. About 6 inches tall.
Good morning Bellin, have your heat back on yet? Thanks for the love..
