This is a G Whitman original. Not a knock-off. The layers of paint and the textures are remarkable. Like the trees had been sculpted out of paint. It is absolutely stunning.
24" x 48". The frame is wood and plaster. The paint is cracking in the lighter areas of the painting because of it's age, but overall it's in great condition. The photograph makes the colors look much more vibrant than they actually are. The painting is much more muted.
We received this remarkable piece as a donation to our art center.
