I was throwing a party, and while looking for an ice bucket, I remembered this item and how nice it is! This hammered aluminum ice bucket was made by "Orman Family", but I found only one example online. The top is decorative with flower design on the handle. Etched inside the lid is the recipe for 14 different mixed drinks (sorry no photo) The 2 handles are very decorative, as are the tongs. The rim is scalloped and it has a liner to keep the ice from melting. A real nice vintage piece!
Thanks mrmajestic1 and AmberRose !

Thank you bratjdd and Radegunder !
I actually own one of these, and in fact used it (again) last nite at my son's surprise 40th birthday party. was given to me (us) as a wedding present in the 70's by an old teacher neighbor. my sons were making fun saying they were gonna get lead poisoning from this vessel. I wonder what it's worth? not that I'd part with it, 'cause I wouldn't. just curious. thank you!!
Sure glad we looked this up. My wife's parent had this and it was WELL USED at family gatherings. It is one piece we decided to keep from there estate. They would be 90 or so and had this as long as my wife can remember. Until I read this post, I had never noticed the mixed drink recipes on the inside of the cover!
Glad you like it. Thanks!
