Tibetan Dzi stones have been worn by Tibetans for thousands of years. They have a mysterious origin. They are said to bring health and prosperity to it's wearer. There are different motifs that carry special meanings. They are one of the hottest items in Tibet. They are very valuble and can be worth up to a million dollars.
Well, perhaps I should add that there are tons of fake Dzi beads out there as well. They can be very cheap and worthless.
I concur, just like there are a lot of fake paintings. It appears when high prices are placed on things fakes are generated. Buyer beware!
