Sorry for the poor picture, but I wanted to get everyone's input.
I thought it would be a great idea to get all of us CW friends together. I traded emails with Hunter, and he let me know that CW would not be doing a flea market this year. (rats!)
So, is there enough interest to find a show, flea market, place, bar...where ever, to converge?
Hunter suggested Chicago because it is central to the US...and between Europe and Asia...
There are a number of markets here and I could see if I could coordinate a promotion with the ones that I know. HOWEVER, I am wide open to suggestions of place/time etc. The purpose of this post is to get the ball rolling.
If you suggest a flea market, let us all know the dates.
If you are interested, and really believe you would make it, let me know too.

    Okay..lets see where this goes!

Is there a good flea in Oakland ho2cultcha?
    4. ho2cultcha ho2cultcha, 12 years ago
we have the monthly alameda flea, plus two not-very-good-but-improving fleas in oakland which are open tues-sun and sat/sun. but oakland just keeps getting better for pickers, artists, steampunksters, hipsters, etc... lots of change happening here these days and great deals to be had.

Hello, there! Think Chicago would be a fabulous location for a CW gathering!!! Only one concern - it's rather expensive. Best wishes for success with the planning, AmberRose! If anyone can bring it to grand fruition, you can!!! : )

I failed to read whole post. Read it this morning, but didn't see the later posts. Duh. Dallas area great idea, but Summer can get mighty hot there. Spring? Hillsville will be a gorgeous area, but would there be sufficient hotels for CW travelers? I noticed that the population of Hillsville is well under 3,000 persons.
