Recently purchased this clock , only it is missing the motor.
I believe these originally came with a telechron motor, but I can not find this particular motor anywhere. I know I have seen them on-line some-where, but my memory fails me.
I've thought about changing it to battery if I can't locate the proper motor, but here's hoping an informed C.W. clock expert can help out!
Thank-you
Condition looks super, Bernie! And those look to be original hands (much prefer the wire "see through" verions over solid hands). Nice to see you post a new piece.
Thanks fifties and Dave! Hard to snatch any good deals on stuff these days with all you snipers on the watch Dave and TGBWC :)!!
This went for decent money only because of the missing motor, but hopefully I can find one somewhere!
Thanks for the nice comment Dave' I'm always lookin' too, but rarely finding the right deal ,would love to post more often though!
This listing shows some detail around the mechanism Bernie:

This collecting coke stuff, it's not for the faint of heart Ray. Just when he thinks he's out, we've got's ta pull him right back in... Sorry, I've been watching the Godfather again!
Thanks Dave, that is an unusual one ,I think the motor has been replaced, judging by the tape. Most all of these have the telechron motor, and I know I've seen them 4-sale somewhere! Any motor that will fit the hole and hands will do though, you know me ,I'm not afraid of a Frankenclock!
I have both the maroon clock like yours and the silver version. The motors on both look like the housing that is on yours. Made by General Electric. I look at Goodwill and garage sales for old electric clocks to use for replacement motors but they are very scarce. TGBWC - I don't know what happened to Trevor. I emailed him about 2 weeks ago and haven't got a replay. I'm doing a nostalgia show on Sunday. Maybe I'll see him there.
It's getting harder all the time to find unique Coke stuff, but I still hunt everywhere I go. Great pickup Bernie! These clocks can still be found out there thankfully. try to find one that's roached but has the mech still in tact. That's what I would do.
Thanks Perry, I'll do that! Hope to find the silver one like you have also!
If it was a telechron motor/movement these folks might be able to help you: http://www.telechronclock.com/, it not perhaps they may still be able to help. Good luck with your restoration...nice clock
Looks great! I looked for some time for a Coca Cola Clock and pulled the trigger on the one I posted, mine dosnt look great like yours but mine has original motor and works perfectly! Hope you can find the right motor and get it hummin!
