The lovely Hawkette is a folding camera for 120 film, made in England by Kodak LTD in 1930. I believe I read somewhere that they gave the bakelite this marbled brown appearance to make it look like wood, as they were unsure how a plastic camera would be regarded by the public (this was Kodak's first-ever plastic-bodied camera). The Hawkette was not produced for retail sales, but rather as a premium for products such as chocolates and cigarettes.
