I have had this mirror for years, I thought maybe from Europe or??? So I took apart today. It has beveled glass, brass I think, (not magnetic), and it says inside Tyler and Hoppach Chicago. I looked this up and only found between 1903 and 1907 there were strikes in N.Y. and Chicago, pretty nasty ones with Pinkertons and violence. see this!

Spohn, who is suing Nicholas Schlee for
breach of contract to give him employ-

Spohn sets up the claim that he was a

April 1, 1903, but that, at the solicitation
of Mr. Schlee and upon his promise to
work for life, he refused to go out with
the others, but remained at work in the
brewery. He was discharged on February

I was thinking maybe this mirror is valuable as in the 1920's many were destroyed by Al Capone and gangsters shooting at G-men with Tommy guns around Chicago! Just kidding! haha
