Here is a nice little box I found. It is in good shape and should clean up nicely. I am not much of a golfer, but I do like it.
3 1/2 inches square box. An inch high.

LOL. thanks stillwater for the comment and everyone for the loves.
Nice...this is marked 92.5 on the bottom side in a circle. Positive about this one.
How positive? Theres quite a lot of brass showing through...
Actually. I think it's 1895. Could it be that old? Model number? Def a number though. Lol.
Lol you're so funny
Its not that old, this is a 1950's-60's kind of thing
Stillwater...thank you...I think! Yes, cleaned it up last night, lost interest this morning. So, I did buy a silver testing kit. Consists of a small bottle of acid and some type of stone? It was only a few dollars, I hope that is what you meant!?!
Have a great weekend!
Yep, thats it. You won't need the touchstone though, thats for gold. You put a tiny tiny drop on the item in question, my acid turns red but some turn white. Is your bottle the color of soy sauce or is it clear?
looks like soy sauce maybe a little more red.
Okay that's the kind I have. Sterling will turn blood red, if it turns blue or green or bubbles, its nickel or white brass. If it turns red, then bluish and bubbly, its silver plated. Make sure to leave it on a bit to give it a chance to eat through the first layer of metal. Don't get it on your skin, stains it bright yellow forever. Its very strong acid, so wash it off your items very well
