Imported from Johnson Brothers in England. Another item my sister in law gave me from garage sale hunting.

Great Plate. This was sold by the Mountain Company at Mount Rushmore. The Mountain Company was founded by Kaye Reardon, the first concessioneer at Mount Rushmore. This is a fine example of one of the souvinir item's she commisioned for her gift shop. The plate also came in Red and Blue. It also had matching mugs. Kaye commissiond hundreds of Mt Rushmore souvinirs, from many noted company's, like Johnson Bros, Redwing, Namedji, Syrorco, Maddux, Treasurecraft, and many more. While she carried the typical tourist T-Shirts and Japanese ashtrays she saw the need for higher end souvinirs and carried everything right up to Lalique and Swarovski Crystal.
