50's couch makeover

Well I finally did it... after years of hesitation I finally allowed my mid century couch to get reupholstered. I always loved the blue that it was sadly my cat thought it made a good scratching post!
I tried to find a vintage fabric and after months I decided on this gray and gold color. I wasn't sure when I first got it back if I was sold on it but it is growing on me. To my complete surprise the blue ended up not being the original fabric thus it might date back further that I thought. It was beautiful lime green mohair! Had I known I would have picked that instead!
