I purchased both of these rings at my local antique jewelry store. I love the combination of garnets and silver. Unfortunately all I know of one of them is the 9 garnet cluster ring is a rholdilite marquise cut fancy sterling silver. What Im hoping is that somebody on here might know what time period its from. The second ring just caught my eye with its beauty and simplicity. I have no idea as to the period of this ring and would love to know more. The enameled horse pin belonged to my great grandmother and while i have no clue as to its makers history I love it for having belonged to my G'Grandma. I am interested in any thoughts people might have on these. I also have another ring whose period i cant place though I think its somewhere from the 40s to the 70s. Its mother of pearl and scrolling sterling silver. I love collecting vintage jewelry as did my grandmothers before me. Im fascinated to know the pieces histories so I can tell my son someday when the whole collection is his.

I think its very hard to tell the ago of those pieces...They still make sterling rings in the same style and they have been making them for a while.
Maybe someone else has an idea.

i know thats whats making it so difficult. I know the two garnet pieces are vintage based off the antique shop i purchased them at ,because they vet all their stuff first, but i didnt ask the origins. Im a twit. The mother of pearl and sterling could be current or period though not sure. And I know the pin is period as it was great grams but no clue on its maker.
