We picked up these two old-looking 8" by 10" Framed Babies recently; one Baby Awake and then Sleeping. I had seen Collage Art before but not with Babies. The babies are actually cut-outs but all around them are Silk and Lace cut-out Pillows, woven and quilted blankets with blue threads, cotton flowered sheets and on the left top corner of the Awake baby there is a background of wallpaper with white Rabbits and flowers. The hair on the babies are actual Golden locks of hair probably from their own infant. I had never encountered this type of Artwork before; does it have a specific name and when was it popular? Thanks for any input, RER (LOUMANAL)
