Tall Cakes is being wonderful by helping me ID the patterns of the Carnival Glass punch bowl set I recently aquired.

Thank you TC! I really appreciate your help!

ddoty.com is a good place to ID carnival glass and has pretty decent photos but can be a bit tricky to navigate at times.

      #2: Long Hobstar http://www.ddoty.com/longhobstar.html
      #3: 474 http://www.ddoty.com/foursevenfour.html
according to the website, Imperial Glass would pair the Long Hobstar bowls with various stand/bases and sell them as fruit bowl sets. At any rate you have a very nice looking set.

TC, you are awesome! Thank you so much for the info and website! As always I am impressed with you glass goodness.
I also picked up Miss American Pink which I will post closer to Valentines Day. It might just become my new obsession. My hubby is not sharing the love so it might a hidden collection ; ))

you are very welcome. I have a SIL who collects pink Mayfair (AKA: Open Rose). The patterns from your set go back to EAPG days when they were made in crystal. 402 1/2 Fashions was introduced around 1914. 474 (AKA: Flower & Hobstar) was introduced around 1913.

I would have passed too. Too many fakes. Unless I am really sure, I pass. I'm sure I missed a few this way. Sometimes I'll take a chance if super duper cheap.
I have found a ton lately though...hubby just informed me that it wasn't his favorite.
Guess it will go in flea market pile.
