    Vintage One Gallon, SUN BRAND Oyster Can. It held oysters that were shucked, packed, labeled and shipped from Maryland!

    Front Label reads; Real Quality Oysters; Baltimore's Best; Packed by the Lieb Packing Company.

    Back Label reads; Keep on ice until used; strictly fresh shucked oysters with that delicious appetizing flavor; Packed under strict sanitary guidelines.

    This can has NO original lid.

    The can is 7 1/2" tall and 6 3/4" across the mouth of the can.

    The can's paint is in great condition, with beautiful grass green, sunny yellow and clean white being the colors. Very little rust on top and bottom, consistent with the can's age.

      "SUN BRAND OYSTERS", The Leib Packing Co., Baltimore, MD. "BALTIMORE'S BIG OYSTER HOUSE". Circa 1930-40s.
      About 75 without lid. Heres a link for one with lid at 95.00
