      Yes, Gothic Revival style, likely circa 1840-1900. Could be from a church, but these were also fashionable at one time in the home. An antique. Quite wonderful!!! I'd flip if it were mine. Here are two links.

      Oh, forgot to mention that with the monks it could also have been from a monastery or school.
