I just rememberd I had this. After my grandfather died it was one of the items passed down to me. I used it for awhile, then put it away, but I never noticed the STERLING mark on the back. I doubt these are real diamonds, two are missing. Funny thing, my gramps was not the kind of guy to use a money clip. Much more of a leather wallet guy, but I really enjoy this, sterling or not!
Very handsome!! So glad that you have this remembrance of your Grandfather!
Could the stones be Marcasite? : )
Thanks mikkochristmas11! mustangtony, vetraio50, and blunderbuss2
thanks bellin68 too! What is marcasite...Ill have to look that up.
Hi, BHock45! Here's a piece on marcasite, a semi-precious jewel. Often found garnishing a piece of sterling jewelry. prefer it to diamonds....Later! : )

Agreed on the Marcasite. AR8Jason, how does one tell the difference between money clip and tie clip, please? Thank you.
OK, I now see the difference between a money clip and a tie clip. Money clip shorter.
Ok I will change the title. No wonder my cash is always falling on the ground!!! Thanks AR8Jason.
