SKOOKUM ART GLASS CO. (Robert Held) PULLED FEATHER VASE

Robert Held who was born in Santa Ana, California in 1943 got interested in Art Glass at a young age and pursued his passion throughout his life. He obtained a Master's Degree in Fine Arts at the University of Southern California and eventually moved to Canada. In 1978, he opened a Glass Studio in Calgary Alberta and produced fabulous Art Glass pieces at his studio called the SKOOKUM ART GLASS COMPANY until 1987. He then opened a studio under his name in Vancouver, BC and is still operating today.
This Pink with Blue Pulled Feather glass vase is a fine example of his fabulous work. It measures 7" and is simply signed SKOOKUM on the lower base. His Glass Creations are still available and reasonably priced and should be included in any serious Art Glass Collection. RER (LOUMANAL)
