Here is a very nice piece I was lucky to find in the store. Really shine up nicely. I remember filmnet coming across a piece labeled "Ambassador", unless I am mistaken. But, I think this is the same company. This fork is labeled STERLING along the side, and I assume the whole fork is sterling not just the handle. I hope this is the same company filmnet!

      Is the handle filled?

Probably with resin or something else. I do not have it here, but I do not think the handle is solid.

      Very beautiful!

If this is very old, the handle could be filled with a lead substance. It can leak.
Stillwater will probably know much more about that substance.

I think that the utensil end will not be sterling. It was made in the UK and thus would have UK sterling hallmarks if made in UK.

I also saw a similar one on ebay, and it stated that only the handle was sterling.

They are filled with either conifer tree resin or a ceramic. The tines are usually silver plated like Mikko said

yes I could agree with this now. Maybe only the handle is sterling, and I am sure it is not solid. It is a very nice piece regardless.

Of course, I'd use it to eat with if I were you. Its a fish fork I believe, but you could use it for everything
