A Murano tazza, probably Salviati, and probably early 20th century. Blown with gold leaf and pick glass in the bowl and foot and a clear glass stem. The hollow stem has a frill of glass at its widest point. It's not a decanter.

I know it is the same place but I usually see this type called Venetian vs. Murano.

Can you shed any light on that?

PERSONALLY, I would call this Venetian and reserve the "Murano" tag for other (usually later, less fragile) pieces.

I guess either tag is correct?
