I found a couple of these what appear to be ingot moulds, while doing a little shoreling metal detecting about a year ago near my home. I'm kinda hoping someone here might know a little about them? They could easily be 300 years old, considering the area they were found in. I've done a little research online & the closest thing i have found to them are tin moulds that were made of granite during the medieval times in the UK. Their dimensions are 8" L, 3-1/2" W, & 2" thick. the center is 5" L, 1-1/2w, & 1-1/4 deep & they are cobblestone. Anyone here have any knowledge of these? Any input would be appreciated? RL
