i do not know much about this pendant - but it has been in the family a long time - although it looks like silver - i believe it was gold at one time - i found it is my grandmother's jewerly box - but she is gone now and noone knows anything about it - i need help in any information also it seems to have the initials on the bottom with H.T something - i cannot make out the rest - but it could also say H.J. something - i tried taking a picture of the initials and the name but it is too small but it is located near the mans foot and the bottom right and there seems to be a number on the bottom left side and it looks like 01- i need help
i really would like to pass this to my grandson with a story about this thank you
Could you post a photo of the back and the size, also a close up of the initials - that would help with ID.
HELP MYSTERY PENDANT
I wonder if it's a commemorative medal or token of some sort - the man is wearing what looks like an early 19th century coat; he's standing on one knee with his hand on his heart -pledging something? I do not recognize the hat. The general style of the pendant is late Victorian (around 1900) but can also be Victorian revival from 1940s or even 1970, finding out the metal content could provide a clue. Take a closer look at the marks to see if the two marks on the left are 17, 18, or 19 and the ones on the right are two digits rather than letters. Together they may combine into a year, and then you'd be able to identify the historic event.
Checkout this German Jewelry Magazine from the early 1900. There is a pendant on page 50 in a very similar style (copy a paste the whole link)

i also noticed the eyes- but i really thought it was a skelton face - i really cant tell lol

Do you mean the link does not work? It may not if you're not in the USA. The source I found was Deutsche Goldschmiede-Zeitung, Volume 6 1903, page 50.
the link just took me to a book for sale - i have tried all ways to go into the book but cnnot - and i live in canada - is there any other way for me to see the picture lol i even tried googling that name but i can't get anywhere , i must be doing something wrong lol thank you
