Scored these vintage prints at goodwill last night. They are printed on some kind of fabric. The prints show the Governor's Mansion and the Capitol, the two most important buildings to tour at Williamsburg. The prints are about 8.5x11 and the frames somewhat larger. I'm gonna give one to my best friend who went to Williamsburg with me, but haven't decided which one yet.
Very attractive, and the frames are wonderful!! A very thoughtful gift! : )
The paper backing of the frames is pretty much destroyed, like someone wanted to get the pictures out and then changed their mind. I think it's fixable though! I know he will love it because he is crazy about mid century stuff. :) Thank you Mikko!
Discovered that the prints were published by the Artistic Picture Publishing Co., in NYC. I believe they are dated 1966, but blobby Roman numerals are hard to read. :P
